Ahmed Musa scored the winning goal as Kano Pillars defeated Niger Tornadoes 2-1 at the Sani Abacha Stadium on Saturday.
Rashid Alhassan gave Kano Pillars the lead on the half hour mark, while Mohammed Goyi equalised for the visitors on the hour mark.
Musa netted the winning goal deep into stoppage time.

At the Remo Stars Stadium, Ikenne, Sunshine Stars beat El-kanemi Warriors 1-0.
Peter Awosanmi netted the winning goal six minutes from time.
In Benin City, Bendel Insurance also recorded a 1-0 victory over Lobi Stars with Isaac Annor scoring the decisive strike in the 83 minute.
