Lobi Stars have dispelled rumours Daniel Amokachi has resigned from his position as technical adviser of the club.
There were reports Amokachi quit his role on Sunday night following Lobi Stars’ 0-0 home draw against Heartland.
“Lobi Stars Football Club has been made aware of baseless rumors claiming that our Technical Adviser, Daniel Amokachi, has resigned following the team’s goalless draw against Heartland FC in Lafia,”the Makurdi said in a statement.

“We unequivocally deny this false information and urge our fans and stakeholders to disregard it.
“Coach Amokachi remains fully committed to the team and is well aware of the unique challenges of the Nigerian league.”
Lobi Stars are battling to escape relegation this season.
The Pride of Benue currently occupy 17th position on the table.
