Katsina United defeated Heartland 1-0 in their Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, matchday 23 encounter at the Muhammadu Dikko Stadium on Friday.
The defeat was Heartland’s first in five league outings.
Emmanuel Amuneke’s side won two and drawn two of the their previous four outings.

Mohammed Ibrahim scored the decisive goal for Katsina United 14 minutes from time.
The hosts moved to 13th position on the table following the hard-earned win.
Heartland maintained 11th position on the log despite the defeat.
Katsina United will travel to the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa Stadium, Bauchi for their next league game, while Heartland will entertain Shooting Stars at the Dan Anyiam Stadium, Owerri.
