Enyimba sports director Ifeanyi Ekwueme has said Brown Ideye will inspire young players at the club.
Ideye was unveiled by the People’s Elephant at the club’s secretariat on Monday.
The 36-year-old is making a return to the Nigerian top-flight after last appearing for defunct Ocean Boys in the 2006/07 season.
Enyimba have struggled upfront this season following the departure of their top striker Chijioke Mbaoma.
Ekwueme believed the arrival of the former West Bromwich Albion and Dynamo Kiev striker will help improve the fortune of the club.
“His experience will help address our goal-scoring challenges and inspire our younger players to improve their performance,” he remarked.
