Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) side, Heartland, have moved to bolster their squad as the mid-season transfer window opens, CompleteSports.com reports.
The Naze Millionaires, five-time Nigerian top-flight champions and three-time domestic cup winners, have secured no fewer than four players on loan for the remainder of the season.
CompleteSports.com checks reveal that Bayelsa United’s attacking midfielder, John Bassey, has completed a loan move to Heartland.

Similarly, Kebbi United’s left-back and former Golden Eaglets player, Dauda Ibrahim, is among those listed by Technical Manager Emmanuel Amuneke MFR to strengthen the team.
David Nnaji Nwankwo, an attacking midfielder who previously played for Ikorodu City, is also set to join the 2009 CAF Champions League runners-up.
Chijioke Anderson, agent of John Bassey, confirmed the player’s move to Heartland.
“We’ve finalised Bassey’s move to Heartland on loan for the rest of the season,” Anderson told CompleteSports.com.

“There are others too who will join Heartland under similar loan arrangements. Dauda Ibrahim and David Nnaji Nwankwo are also expected to join the team this weekend.”
Heartland are currently on a short break following the conclusion of the first-round matches in the 2024/2025 NPFL season.
Technical Manager Emmanuel Amuneke MFR disclosed to CompleteSports.com that preparations for the second stanza will resume on Monday, 6 January 2025.
