Enyimba and Heartland battled to a 1-1 draw in their Nigeria Premier Football League matchday 21 encounter in Aba on Thursday.
Heartland took the lead from the penalty spot through Daniel Ekpo in the 15th minute.
Joseph Atule restored parity for Enyimba 10 minutes after the break.
The People’s Elephant are now winless in their last five games across all competitions.
Heartland on the other hand are unbeaten in their last three games.
In Port Harcourt, Rivers United held Bendel Insurance to a 2-2 draw.

Meyinwa Oritseweyinmi gave Insurance the lead after six minutes, while Ubong Friday levelled for the hosts four minutes after the half hour mark.
Insurance took the lead for the second time in the game through Uche Collins four minutes after the break.
Handsome Surveyor however restored parity for Rivers United in the 51st minute.
At the Muhammadu Dikko Stadium, Muhammad Ibrahim scored the decisive goal from the penalty spot deep into stoppage time as Katsina United claimed a 1-0 victory over Plateau United.
Elsewhere, Niger Tornadoes pip Kwara United 2-1.
Tornadoes went in front after two minutes courtesy of Ifeanyi Okechukwu’s strike, while Abdulrasheed Dabai doubled the advantage two minutes from time.
Junior Aimufua reduced the deficit in stoppage time.
