Enyimba Football Club of Aba, widely regarded as Nigeria’s most successful football team, have finally secured an official residence for their coaching staff, Completesports.com reports.
The newly acquired one-storey building features two three-bedroom flats and four self-contained one-bedroom apartments, offering modern and comfortable living spaces.
Speaking with Completesports.com, the club’s Sporting Director, Ifeanyi Ekwueme, highlighted the building’s state-of-the-art facilities designed to ensure the coaches’ convenience.

“There are two standby generator sets and overhead tanks to guarantee constant electricity and water supply,” said Ekwueme, a former Super Eagles winger.
“This is the first time Enyimba coaches are enjoying such a welfare facility, thanks to the effective leadership of the Nwankwo Kanu-led management of Enyimba International FC.
“Kanu is a globally celebrated football icon who understands professional football management practices. He is transforming the club with his experience and vision.
“To my knowledge, no previous management of the club has prioritised giving Enyimba a professional image that truly reflects its stature in Nigerian and African football. The Kanu-led management is changing that narrative,” Ekwueme added.

Additionally, Ekwueme revealed that the current management has completed a security post at the Enyimba Stadium to ensure round-the-clock safety for fans and property during and after matches.
“The security post at the Enyimba Stadium is now fully operational. It is aimed at providing 24-hour security before, during, and after games,” Ekwueme explained.
