Nasarawa United technical adviser Kabiru Dogo has expressed disappointment following his side’s loss to El-kanemi Warriors.
The Solid Miners went down to a 1-0 defeat against Aliyu Zubairu’s side in Maiduguri on Saturday.
Al Amin Umar scored the decisive goal for El-kanemi Warriors three minutes before the half hour mark.
Dogo praised his players for their hard work in the keenly contested encounter.

“We are gutted to lose against El-Kanemi Warriors, but we can’t fault our effort,” Dogo stated in a post-match interview.
“I am incredibly proud of the team’s display. We dominated the game, created numerous chances, and deserved more.
“Sometimes, football can be cruel, but we will take the positives, regroup, analyze our performance, and come back stronger in our next game against Ikorodu City at our home ground.”
Nasarawa United will Ikorodu City in their next league game.
