Niger Tornadoes captain Mustapha Aliko is upbeat the Minna club can win the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) title this season.
The Ikon Allah Boys currently occupy eighth position on the log with 21 points from 15 matches.
Majin Mohammed’s side are eight points adrift leaders Rivers United.
Aliko believed they can still challenge for the title despite their position on the log.

“We have a strong squad and a good team spirit,” the goalkeeper told Sports Boom.
“We’ve been working hard in training, and I believe we have what it takes to win the league title.”
The shot stopper further revealed what the players need to do to achieve their objective.
“We need to be consistent in our performances and work together as a team,” he added.
“We also need to be clinical in front of goal and take our chances when they come.”
Abia Warriors will be away to Abia Warriors this weekend.
