Nottingham Forest have now opened talks with Leicester City for Wilfred Ndidi.
Reports emerged this week that the Nigeria international has agreed personal terms with the Tricky Trees.
According to transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano, Nottingham Forest have presented an opening proposal to Leicester City for the player.
Ndidi is reportedly keen to join the Premier League club.
“Nottingham Forest presented an opening proposal to sign Wilfred Ndidi from Leicester 🚨🔴🌳 #NFFC,” Romano tweeted.
“Personal terms agreed as revealed two days ago, Ndidi wants the move and clubs now starting negotiations.”
European giants Bayern Munich and Liverpool are also reportedly interested in the midfielder.
The 26-year-old has less than 12 months remaining on his contract.

I believe liverpool is the latest club to show interest in him.
I expect Ndidi to be in a top 5 club and become the captain of SE. He has done so much to maintain consistency.
