Moses Ebiye was on target for Motherwell who defeated Clyde 3-1 in Group G of the Scottish League Cup.
Ebiye has now opened his goals account for the new campaign.
The 27-year-old opened the scoring in the 12th minute before Clyde equalized through Lee Hamilton in the 61st minute.
Just four minutes after Clyde’s equalized Motherwell went 2-1 ahead thanks to Lennon Miller.
Then with four minutes left to play Filip Stuparevic added the third goal to secure the win.
After three group games, Motherwell top ahead of Partick Thistle, Clyde, Montrose and Edinburgh City.
Ebiye joined Motherwell on 5 March 2024, as a free-agent until the summer of 2025.
Motherwell have only won the Scottish League Cup once which was in the 1950–51 season.
