Nigeria forward Yusuf Otubanjo has won the UEFA Europa Conference League Goal of the Week award.
Otubanjo scored a stunning goal as Armenian club, FC Pyunik defeated Slovan Bratislava 2-0 on Thursday night.
It was the first time an Armenian club will record a win in the group stage of UEFA club competition.
The goal was Otubanjo’s first in the UEFA Europa Conference League for Pyunik this season.
The 30-year-old beat three other players to the individual accolade.
His compatriots, Samuel Chukwueze and Peter Olayinka were nominated on matchday one.
Otubanjo joined Pyunik from Ararat-Armenia this summer.
Pyunik will face Lithuanian club, Zalgiris in their next game in the competition.
