This GUY has an IMPRESSIVE GOAL RECORD (23 out 37 APPEARANCE) why is HE not MOVING to BARCELONA, PSG, BAYERN, LIVERPOOL or AC MILAN?
@MONKEY POST… Don’t you get tired of making this sort of slow comments every time?
LMFAO. Why won’t you ATTACK me? Because HE is your IDOMA BROTHER from BENUE STATE na.
Be happy for the young man first before you begin to mention Barcelona and Real Madrid.
How can I be HAPPY for a MEDIOCRE MOVE bro. NO! Am one of the very few NIGERIANS with BIG MENTALITY. I CELEBRATE only BIG MOVES. I mean didn’t you SEE the WAY I CELEBRATED CHUKWUEZE move to MILAN? That’s how it should be. I want and LOVE NIGERIANS to be making AMBITIOUS MOVE not some POVERTY MOVE bro
I think the world of football right now is on its knees all around… teams hungry to snap-up the next raw gem of Nigerian descent to polish. Right now the craze in the streets and alleys of European clubs with decent ambitions is “operation get your own Nigerian striker”
Congratulations Adams Akor, seeing his picture inset alone tells he is a killer… Standing at an imposing 1.91 meters, Nigeria is indeed blessed with soccer talent. Straight from Norwegian Eliteserien League club Lillestrom to John Utaka’s former team Montpellier.
We true fans of Super Eagles love it, we welcome it and we shall continue to push that only the best and most talented players represent our Super Eagles, old players and underperforming players who no longer pull their weights and have become dead-mass in the National must yield and give away.
We shall be looking forward to a good 2023/2024 Ligue 1 season to see how our players perform. Hopefully, Gift Orban should seal his Lille or Lens move soonest! I hope it’s Lille to get him.
Cheers to everyone…
@Jimmyball thanks to Victor Osimhen for that which is why we always say, We should be motivating our players to play in Europe not NPFL if players do well in Europe cap them in the national team prioritise them over NPFL any day any time because of the benefits Osimhen’s heights is bringing our ball again. NPFL players belong in Chan team Period!. Just like Drogba and Yaya created a craze for Ivorian Players so too Mane for senegalese Osimhen is doing the same and this should be appreciated better by Nigeran Football authorities and some fans alike, NFF take note.
and In case of Orban I think he is going to sign with Tottenham Hotspurs which is even better than Lille in my books for the lad.
Very true @ Ugo and Jimmyball. This is just the Osimene effect. Not just about our being pursued by these clubs but most importantly these players now believing in themselves and rising up to the challenge
Osimhen has done great and surely he is the frontliner making the world take note of Nigerian players… however, I think one thing the whole world knows Nigeria have in abundance is footballing culture and talent.
People have done it before Osimhen, but he has just upped the ante another level. Even now Terem Moffi, Gift Orban, Victor Boniface, Kayode Olaranwaju have been big hitters since 2017. The key thing to now check is how politics will leave the situation when players are being considered to represent the Senior National Team.
Yet another Non-NPFL raised player hits mainstream Europe……LMAOoo.
Where at the so-called “many talents” in this league called the NPFL, why are they always in the hiding…???
@JimmyBall, not that I’m standing up for Mr Dr Drey, but your conclusion is not what he’s implying na. Not once did I understand that he said we shouldn’t have a national league rather I derived that he responding to those calls for local players in our national team
What was the topic about then? If you understand management you will know NFF does not need to invite everyone from Europe eachtime to play the likes of Lesotho, Sao Tome. That’s where you call at most 10 key foreign based professionals and the rest homebased… What’s a Victor Osimhen coming to play against Sao Tome for? To score 7goals in a match and create cheap records? We know African sides with pedigree and when we have games against third rate African teams, we can use local based and a few exceptional young talents from the U-20s to prosecute those games. We saw a good number of players from U-20 WC in Argentina the likes of Toochukwu Nnadi, Emmanuel Umeh, Sarki, Jude Sunday and Daga. A few of those with the best in the league and just about 7 key super Eagles players can do a good job against Sao Tome, against Lesotho, against CAR and the likes of Eswatini… That’s why some of us say, homebased can also be involved in games like that even though it’s just a few of them guys say 5 to 6 at a time. Nothing wrong in that… You can’t be playing Cameroon, Senegal, Benin and the likes of SA and Zambia and any sane football fan will say callup homebased. But writing off the league as having no talent, means it’s a useless league and no one shd take interest in it… and that’s Akin to saying the league is a waste of time as there is no one there to even reckon with… Common! The same can be said of the Super Falcons also… even though some of us are beginning to see the likes of Oshoala are actually hype-helped by the team they play for, and players in the ranks of those clubs… I believe there are even these days, younger female players based in Nigeria that can give Azizat a run for her money because she has come now to only have minimal effect in her plays and presence in the Super Falcons… nothing Spectacular anymore from her.
Hahahaha Lord AMO, simple English is not that simple my brother…..LMAOoo.
