The international friendly match between the Super Eagles of Nigeria and Pharaohs of Egypt, scheduled to hold on Tuesday, March 26, will be broadcast live on GOtv. The encounter, billed for the Stephen Keshi Stadium, Asaba, will be aired live on SuperSport Select 1 (channel 1) at 4pm.
The encounter between the two teams will serve as a warm-up game for the two African football giants ahead of the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON), which will be hosted by Egypt in June.
Both teams have met 17 times, with the Super Eagles winning on seven occasions, while the Pharaohs have won five times, the most recent being a 1-0 victory in March 2016, which denied Nigeria a ticket to the 2017 AFCON.
The Super Eagles go into the game on the back of a 3-1 win against Seychelles in their last AFCON 2019 qualifier at the Stephen Keshi Stadium. Coach Gernot Rohr is expected to use the game to test some fringe players, who could put themselves in the contention for slots in the final AFCON squad.
The Egyptians, who landed in Asaba on Sunday, finished their 2019 AFCON qualifying campaign with a 1-1 away to Niger. They arrived without their talismanic skipper, Mohamed Salah, who was left out of the game by Coach Javier Aguirre.

Five-time world champions, Brazil, were surprisingly held 1-1 at home by Panama on Saturday. The Seleção will, however, hope to bounce back against a Czech side, who were battered 0-5 by England in their last Euro 2020 qualifier.
Meanwhile, GOtv customers can also enjoy other top matches from the Premier League, LaLiga, Serie A and Champions League, when they upgrade their subscription to GOtv Max with a reduced fee of N2,500 in the ongoing ‘GOtv Top Up’ campaign.

First of all, I give glory to God almighty. What a beautiful day. Thank God. Good morning CSN. Good morning my people
Hmmm, it is time to tell the koko as usual. Before I go further,
I pledge to Nigeria my Country.
To be faithful, loyal and honest.
To serve Nigeria with all my strength.
To defend her unity.
And uphold her honour and glory.
So help me God.
Now let the koko begins. I heard that to serve Nigeria is not by false? Ah, to serve Nigeria is by false o my people of 9ja.
For these reasons, If I use my beautiful mouth to cut bitter kola for you people, you might refused to eat it, no wahala.
If I use this my mouth to cut kola for you to eat, you may say my mouth is too stinky, ofefe, not a problem.
But if I use this mouth to talk please Nigerians, listen attentively.
The people in charge of our football are not the right people to move our football to the next height.
This people have been cutting the wings of our team Super Eagles for a very long time.
They started with the Surulere national stadium. The home of Super Eagles team.
They changed NFA, Nigeria Football Association while simply because there are many association everywhere in the Country I think.
For instance, we have pepper seller association. We also have Okoda riders association and also panmo cow skin seller association and lastly, pure water association.
This people think they were more than the citizens and went ahead to changed the name from NFA to NFF. Nigeria Football Federation and things started falling apart.
Now that they changed the name and the home of our darling team Super Eagles the pride of African team, Eagles failed to flies again.
Since 2000 Afcon, they have bn changing the match venues of the team and they have no clue of what they are doing that led to Asaba scenario.
Is Asaba is the right place for Eagles?
Today, we have a friendly match against Egypt. A friendly match that can turns to a big disgrace if care is not taken.
However, for we to get things right again, we have to go back to Lagos, the original of the Super Eagles home.
Two, coach Rohr can not give us what we have bn asking from him. He have tried and I appreciate his efforts.
The team we have now is lacking so many things. Tanzania were playing on Sunday with different mentality, hope, passion and determination but Eagles of today doesn’t have that. All we have bn hearing here and there is we have a young team.
Our ex players are needed in the NFF board. They have so many things to offer the team. No time to check time.
We all have to voice out. Enough of this drama. If Super Eagles do not getting it right in today’s match, I will blame Mr. Amaju, the NFF president for his action.
As a president, he have a huge role to play. Super Eagles must have a permanent home. The best place for the team is Lagos. CSN over to you. You guys should please deliver my message to Mr. Amaju the NFF President.
I wish our beloved Super Eagles a good outing in today’s match. God bless Nigeria!!!
