President of Nigeria Football Federation Ibrahim Musa Gusau says that the Nigerian football ruling body has not made any decision regarding the contract situation of Super Eagles Head Coach, Jose Peseiro, Completesports.com exclusively reports.
There have been various reports on the contract of Peseiro whose first contract expired last month with the NFF making plans to replace him with local coaches. There were also media reports that the Portuguese coach has been asked to go.
“We have not sacked Peseiro. We have yet to take a decision on the Super Eagles coach,” Gusau told Completesports.com in an exclusive chat.

“It is not true, we have not taken a decision. When we do, it will be made public. ”
The NFF President has earlier told a Lagos-based radio station in an interview that the country’s football ruling body will take a decision based on the recommendation of the Technical Committee.
Meanwhile, the chairman of the newly constituted NFF Technical Committee, Alhaji Sheriff Ahlan Inuwa, when asked about the fate of Peseiro as Super Eagles coach, said: “We have not met and I am not aware of sacking anybody or the appointment of interim coaches.”

Dumbest technical committee that never selects right coaches. Even Zambian club Zanaco has a better coach compared to Nigeria. Yeye people always using politics to decide everything. International matches will kickoff soon continue looking for how to share salaries before you settle with a coach!!!
NFF always do not select the right coaches for Super Eagles this cause of corruption at thier administrators, they take bribe from selected coaches, that means new selected coaches pay big bribe to NFF administrators so that they can hire them, so that they select flopped coaches who haven’t any quality, they think quality coaches demand huge money which NFF can not pay; so I recommend excellency minister of sport to adopt this issue for hiring quality coach for SE and I wish Ministry might ensure to pay his wages, bonuses; I recommend Ministry to hire one of thoes quality coaches French coaches, Raymond Domenech, Jacques Santini,Michel Pavon or one of thoes Netherlands coaches like Frank Rijkaard, Marco Van Bastin,Danny Blind, louis Van Gaal,Ronald De Boer assited with Daniel Amokachi ,Ike Shorounmu,Tijani Babanjida with the new coach especial crew, I select Raymond Domenech or louis Van Gaal or Frank Rijkaard who has held many championships with Barcelona and he has also administrated Netherlands team; Raymond Domenech has also administrated France team in the final World Cup in South Africa 2010.
Even the present coach of the national team, have they paid him ? Not to talk of the big names coaches u re saying here , csn they even pay them ?
Not really interested whether Paseiro stays or not. His performance has been meh so far. The jury is still out on his competence on the job. It’s Waldrum I’m concerned about.
If the ridiculous sack rumour is true, then the NFF needs to write a 100-page report justifying the imbecilic decision and it better be convincing or that seat will be too hot for any of them for the rest of their tenure.
If they sack Waldrum, then they will have some explaining to do. There will be no hiding place for them. That may very well be the proverbial straw that breaks the camel’s back.
Even a 100-page report will not suffice. Dem go write report taya.
They will find themselves under intense public scrutiny, which will likely culminate in their ouster from office, just like it happened with their predecessors.
Thumbs up Pompeimam. They will need to explain themselves if they sack Waldrum.
Heaven bless Waldrum and Peseiro and all deserving Super Eagles/Falcons coaches
Its the look on Gusau’s face for me anytime he talks about the falcons’ $60,000…..LMAOoo.
You can feel his pain and anger from a thousand miles away.
LAMAO….All eyes on the money making sure the money gets to the hands of the rightful owners, the players. The looks on his eyes give him away all the time knowing he can’t pinch even a dime from the players money….. Awon Ole jatijati…..
We don’t need peseiro he’s not q good coach , we risk missing wc qualification of we don’t sack this man. Amuneke should be hired.
Hahaha, if you multiply the 60k by the total number of players, na small money be dat?
Money they would have joyously shared among themselves is now in the players’ bank accounts.
E pain dem well well.
Super Falcons have a WAFCON qualifier against Sao Tome and Principe in September, even though they are minnows in African football but at least it allows us to try our players before the matches against Ethiopia in October which are the Olympic qualifiers. When as at today Randy doesn’t know his faith, is it in October they will tell him.
NFF are just a bunch of jokers. The spokesman Ademola Olajire should just leave that post.
NFF are so stupid and brainless , they have paid huge money for clueless and flopped coach like Peseiro ; they have paid $70000 as a month wage, they could have paid it to a World class coach like Joachim Low or Frank Rijkaard or Raymond Domenech or Marco Van Bastin who have quality coaching experience than a bad coach like Peseiro who has been beaten by tiny teams like Central Africa , Guinea Bissau in Abuja, this has been strong blow and big scandal in Nigera football history, so I recommend excellency Minister of Sport John Enoh to adopt and sponsor the hiring of World class coach, he can select with assitance of NFF technical committe on coach from I mentioned above who have great cv and experience in football coaching.
Gusau and his cronies at the NFF are such boring and unglamorous charactees! They cannot raise funds from Nigerian businesses to run professional football. That is the inconvenient truth.
