The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) is still pushing hard to convince Tosin Adarabioyo to play for the Super Eagles.
Adarabioyo was born in London, England to Nigerian parents.
The Chelsea defender has represented England on 14 occasions across the various age-group levels.
The 26-year-old is still eligible to play for the Super Eagles as he is yet to represent England at the senior level.

Adarabioyo has however turned down NFF’s request to play for the Super Eagles twice in the past.
The centre-back also held talks with former Super Eagles head coach, Jose Peseiro in London before the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.
The Portuguese was unable to convince the then-Fulham man to play for the West African country.
According to Londonworld, the NFF is however not willing to give up and are still pushing the defender to have a change of mind.
Adarabioyo joined Chelsea on a free transfer earlier this summer after severing with Fulham.

You see it is fast becoming painful being Nigerian. I think NFF needs to be disbanded. Period

Nff and propaganda are 5&6
Instead of providing updates on the Super Eagles coach. They are working with egunje reporter to distract their gullible self with sensational stories and lies. The story of Tosin is well-docimented but you decided to go for Taminu.
Foreign born are their nemesis! Its difficult to deny Foreign born players their birth right. They did with VM, Balo exposed their asses and they avoided him, they couldn’t get Ekong to play along and are doing everything to demote him.
The lesser Foreign born the more nff expands his bribery enterprise.
In a sane country, Picnic would be in jail by now and dumbo Gusau would be a tourist agent or guidesince he likes traveling.
@Larry I think it is clear they are holding out for Herve Renard, It is pretty obvious, Hopefully he will sort this mess Okponu NFF have made. Hopefully!
if is true /BECAUSE WE CAN FULLY BELIEVE WHAT PRESS OF NIGERIA these DAYS. THE NFF MUST BE SMOKING PIPE! NO COACH IS LOOKING FOR PLAYERS NO WONDER I KEEP ON SAYING IS ONLY IN NIGERIA THAT YOU PUT A CAR MECHANIC AS A DOCTOR.
@Ugo, fingers crossed !
I hope it ends well .
Why beg him, he knows he has no chance of making that team. Make we hear word, some of them are just crap and we beginning to see it gradually
@Jesse is that not what you people said about Saka and Eze at some point oh England will just use them and dump them like Abrahams and Tomori some Nigerians will never learn mis placed arrogance. Your wish will not succeed he is worth begging and is even better than your Ekong i love Bassey but where the two not in the same Fulham last season. Why did Tosin get the upgrade in club and not Bassey wicked Nigerians always willing to keep Super Eagles down bevause of stupid mis placed arrogance. You are probably some Okponu NFF official Showing your stupidity online. It is you who will not make it in life ode!!
Most of u are talking trash it very obvious u hate nff so much that’s why u are not talking fact nff as being chasing tosin since 2019 when his playing for westbrom in 2nd division he keep turning us down buth u pple says nff prefer tiaminu ahead of him even complete sport wrote it there that he turn pesero down twice get your fact before typing trash the only player we should av cap is eze when his still nobody in qpr but rorh didn’t invite him
Most of this players need us more than we need them that’s the fact where is young promising Ibe now?where is danjuma?why is solanke begging nff to play for us?why did 29 years old akpom now want to play for us now when we been chasing him since he was 20year old am with Mikel they should all wait for England, Germany and France we don’t need them at 27,30 look at akpogunma too he would av had good career if he play for Nigeria early because all players has more value is they are cap by a country
The article said the dude rejected Peseiro’s advances while playing for Fulham, why is nobody mentioning that part, or you guys just choose what to believe? Criticism only makes sense when it is constructive and balanced.
Is Tosin the best thing since sliced bread?
The Englishman is a solid center back. No argument.
He’s also a potent goal threat. Especially with set pieces. He uses his height very well in these circumstances.
However, he has a weakness.
Against pacy forwards who know how to play on the shoulder of defenders, Tosin will be exposed. I’ve seen this happen in the Premiership time and time again. His recovery after getting turned is poor, in my opinion. I’ve often seen strikers turn and leave him for dead, then you see Bassey or another defender scrambling across to bail him out.
I see him struggling against African strikers. You know the type I’m referring to.
Strong, fast, physical, bulldozer type strikers. Tosin will have the aerial advantage, but with the ball on the ground and moving at pace, kasala go burst.
That’s a part of his game I want him to work on.
