Good news, all our online expert coaches time to put your money where your mouth is. Who knows you may be the long awaited saviour of Nigerian football.
Baba Peserio have cashed out and bailed! Smart man.He knew his next contract will be tied to a world cup qualification which is already shaky.Best thing:Japa while ovation is loudest with a pay cheque of $850,000!
He needed to revamp his CV and to get world wide recognition which the super Eagles Job gave him .We wish him well but something deep down tells me that he may not last on his next job unless he lands a supremely talented side like South Africa, Egypt, Morocco, Senegal, cameroun, CIV, Ghana. He will struggle with a mid tier or average African teams. If he get a top club in Europe fine.
Now is the time to move on and only the best coach will do.
Why advertise Ugbade’s position, why not allow him continue like Bosso. He must have learnt his lessons now and will do things differently.
Your last paragraph is instructive. Anyway the broke ass glasshouse recently said coaches in their employ apart from the senior national teams would be paid on per match basis. Perhaps maybe Bosso loved such a deal so he looks for team with different competitions. No plenty matches, no plenty bonuses and allowances. NFF is clever. How many matches a year do our age grade teams play? Fixed salaries for their coaches didn’t give glasshouse enough money to siphon. I bet they’d have claimed much more from the government.
Even if the man win AFCON and WC in the same year, people like you will still have something to say. Negative mindset will only stagged you in one spot.
It amuses me when I read this type of comment. Quality coaches cost money, and Nigeria doesn’t even pay very well. The Algerian manager is on $100,000 per month. Even Al-Ahli paid Pitso that same amount. People didn’t even realize that Peseiro had to pay his assistants from the paltry $50,000 NFF pays him monthly. If you feel Peseiro used the Eagles to improve his standing in the global coaching market, why didn’t your Eguavoen do the same thing? Why didn’t Siasia do the same thing when he had the chance to handle this same team twice (2011 and 2017).
Peseiro deserves respect not ridcule.
Thumbs up Kola… fantastic reply.
Help us ask them if Peserio couldn’t qualify for ordinary AFCON like their local guadiolas he would have had his CV improved…..LMAOoo
The same things they said about Rohr too…”he is using the SE to improve his CV…yen yen yen yen.
Why are their local guadiolas still walking around with tattered CVs even after being given multiple chances to coach the same SE……LMAooo.
Every coach who has done well as SE coach has used the team to improve themselves…that is why most of them never achieved anything tangible elsewhere once they left that seat.
White asslicker, can you just stop commenting. It’s beginning to get boring, It’s obvious you don’t like black people. So is he wrong when he said Paseiro came to use us to boost his resume. lets wait and see where he ends up. At least your former PE teacher is still struggling to muster a win with Benin republic. Abi whats the excuse for not winning in i believe 9 games so Far.
“Let’s see where he ends up.’ Really? The same manager who took Sporting Lisbon to a 3rd place finish in the Portuguese league and took them to the final of the UEFA Cup the next year?
By the way, I have updated my name for Kola to Kolade, as another Kola is on here advocating for Eguavoen. God forbid I advocate for such a mediocre.
I ve sent in my application.. I hope to be considered for the job .. I don’t mind $10000. For the next one year and after winning the next afcon and qualifications to wcup I will ask for $100000 .
I wil make sure discipline is topnotch in camp . I wil make sure cameras as attached to each room in camp to monitor my players in the night.
I wil make sure email are sent to each players to notify Dem want dey shud do in training and also point out their mistakes on the field of play in their clubs during games .
I wil make sure each player submit his minutes per minutes performance in the leagues he plays in .
I will make sure dey practice how to score goals and how to defend in mass
I wil let Dem realize that to get a space in the team u must have 70% game time in clubs .
We hv a crucial world cup qualifiers around the corner and NFF is seeking for applicants for the vacant position of super eagles coach .. Our football is doomed. Flying coach kept cycling the same coach who has nothing to offer and everyone is quiet abt it ..
Did NFF add, as part of the requirement, Willing to go on working for several months without pay? Awon olori Buruku. Just keep your Job. You have enough “Yes” men to do the job.

Former Super Eagles Manager, Bonfrere Jo, has thrown his weight behind his ex winger, Emmanuel Amuneke to be appointed as the coach of the senior national team, the Super Eagles saying he would be okay as a Technical Adviser working with the Super Eagles.
Bonfrere Jo, the Atlanta Olympic Gold winning coach who revealed this to Correspondent through a telephone conversation from his base in Holland said that Amuneke has the discipline, tactical and technical competence to lead the Super Eagles to glory.
Recall that after the Nigeria Football Federation severed relationship with the Portuguese handler, Jose Peseiro and the senior national team has been left without a coach; a situation that threw in the Federation’s Technical Director, Augustine Eguavoen as interim Manager.
Following the development, industry stakeholders have been lending their voices towards appointing a top notch coach for the Super Eagles, with former Green Eagles winger, Segun Odegbami strongly opposing a foreign coach stressing that the team need a local Manager of great repute to lead the Super Eagles.
However, Bonfrere Jo aligned with the position of Odegbami but was particular in the man he believed would perfectly do the job and achieve the desired results.
“Yes, I agree Nigeria needs a local coach at the moment. Not a foreigner. But the country will have everything to gain if the authorities should appoint Emmanuel Amuneke for the job. I know him very well. He has a very strong mentality. He has the discipline and technical savvy to achieve results. In fact,if the Federation calls me to provide technical backup to Amuneke,I will gladly accept the task.
“I’m Dutchgerian. I worked so well with Nigeria players, winning great laurels for the country. I still follow Nigeria football and I’m not happy with the speed of her progress. The country needs more speed and the of all the local players I worked with back in the days, I will gladly recommend Emmanuel Amuneke for the job. I will comfortably work with him from behind the scenes and together, we will return Nigeria football to it’s glorious heights”, he
Bonfrere Jo won the Atlanta Olympics gold medal for Nigeria, with Emmanuel Amuneke as one of the overaged players in the team where the winger scored the winning goal against Argentina in the finals.
Amuneke also scored twice against Zambia in the finals of the African Nations Cup in Tunisia, helping Nigeria win the trophy in 1994.
Amuneke, a former Barcelona winger took to coaching after retirement from active football where he won the World Under 17 championship in Chile in 2015 with players like Victor Osimhem.
He also qualified Tanzania for her first ever African Nations Cup in 2019 and has worked with several other clubs in Egypt and Zambia.
Sources from the Nigeria Football Federation said that the authorities would make open it’s choice of the Coach of the Super Eagles soon, assuring they would do everything possible within her powers to appoint the best and most suitable for the job.

E no go better for Bonfere Jo. E no go better for Amunike. E no go better for NFF if dey appoint any ex-international as SE coach. E no go better for the people wey dey clamor for local coach.
E no go better for you las las!!!
This is the worst possible outcome for Nigeria. Knowing our NFF, getting another coach will take at least 6 months. In this period, we would have played 2 WC qualifying games with a mediocre interim manager like Eguavoen, and our WC hopes would have been virtually extinguished.
I hope the Sports ministry and the presidency step in now. If Peseiro is not being renewed, then the NFF should have a replacement lined up to start ASAP, not advertising the position. This is crap.
I just checked the NFF website/ handle on X and didn’t see this vacancy announcement.
I think NFF must add to hire WorldClass coach that he must have mentality of reading the matches so well, has plan b, c, d to win the matches, also he must walkover Super Eagles style of playing , that they play with short passes, play through wings, play in depth , have strong midfielders , and backs , have an excellent playmakers who grant the forwards with through passes; after all that the next coach must care of defensive midfield and backline defence.
What about u20 team that Bosso has not been convincing with. Omg NFF always fail and limit Nigeria with every opportunity.
Emmanuel Amunike is a veteran coach who can lead Super Eagels to the next era assited by Daniel Amokatche , Sylvanus Okpala, Ike Shoronumu; or to hire Smasun Siasia as an expert coach who plays with a modern football style; if NFF would to hire a foriegn coach I think Luarent Blanc or Lepoutugie are suitable coaches to lead SE , they are World Class coches who can change SE to play quick, organized with winning mentality.
Siasia is the best local coach around, but unfortunately serving a ban till August or so. The next in line is Amuneke though he’s yet to prove it at the senior level. I will prefer an interim person now until August when we can call on Siasia on a long term basis like Aliu Cisse of Senegal with the required support. Amuneke can hold forth now and we’ll what he’s got
If not for pro license requirements, what stops Finidi from taking over the SE?
Go get Pitso Mosimane if he’s available… please. He has what we are looking for in a coach…he has it all. Someone should contact him for us…I would gladly send in his CV if I can contact him… but I don’t have his contact.
Hear Ye, Hear Ye!
Me I do not recommend Amunike or any of the usual suspects who have already had a chance and failed variously – the list is exhaustive but everyone knows who these people are, Egauvoen, Finidi, Amokachi, Olofinjana etc etc – let’s move away from recycling the same old same old – why is this the case in Nigeria?? How did this culture of NEVER looking beyond their nostrils come up? Is it due to the inherent and pervasive corruption in the country? Kai!
Anyway, whilst I’m at it – this one goes out to anybody involved in our football set-up, specifically regarding the SE’s and their handlers , scouts etc – please please please – spread your net wide, and it’s even a lot easier now than it ever was – ranging from candidates for the the coaching job to players for the team –
Hear this!! Go NOW and start trying to get these two kids 18 and 19 year olds playing for Man City and Man Utd – Michael Okeke (Man City youth team) -this kid has already been claimed by Hungary- why oh why do we allow these stupid situations to develop and we will be wanting a great team but we do ZERO about it, make absolutely no effort but want to achieve greatness – Michael Okeke is going to be the next world’s Messi! – Yes, you heard that right and heard it from yours truly first! Mark this date and mark my words!, this kid is better than Michael Olise please find his Nigerian father and start begging him RIGHT NOW!!- We must not lose this kid to Hungary, a racist country for that matter that does not even like or rate blacks yet they are going to benefit from one of our sons?? Haba! that does not make any sense! Okeke is now 19 years old!
The next kid I want to talk about is Habeeb Ogunneye! – This is another supremely blessed footballer and athlete! 18 years old, and already one of the most sought after left backs on the planet, playing for Man Utd and already being watched be England – NIGERIAAA! Get in there sharpish! Lets sound these kids out – these are our sons! Let’s not lose them to Oyinbo countries! – The racism and lack of opportunities and general dislike and disdain continues yet we are producing supreme athletes for them at an unimaginable rate! Which way Nigeria ke? A beg get your house in order ke? Let’s be the ones benefitting from our children and talent – I have said enough o!
Don’t let me see Michael (Messi) Okeke playing for Hungary’s senior national team na beg we dey beg una! Chaii!
Haba!
The requirements affixed to the jobs are quite ok and at least, no commentator/fan has disputed that. On that note, we are waiting for the NFF to walk their talk.
Appointment based selection n merit is much more ecceptable. Even the government of President Tinubu also favours such.

Spot on !!!
Have Nigerian loving fans accepted President Tinubu as the father of the nation?
Another WorldCup lost. I hope not though..
