Premier League club Newcastle United are readying a massive bid for Napoli striker Victor Osimhen.
According to Italian outlet, La Gazzetta dello Sport, Newcastle will make an offer of a ‘significant sum’ to sign rumoured Arsenal and Manchester United target Osimhen.
The Magpies are keen to strengthen their attack ahead of next season and have the money to splash on an expensive new striker.

Newcastle are tempted to make a big offer for the Nigerian but the player is not particularly tempted by a transfer to St. James’ Park.
For the moment, given the lack of movement by Arsenal and United over a transfer, he would prefer to remain at Napoli and play in the Champions League.
Newcastle also made an attempt for Osimhen in January.

don’t follow suffer head. Newcastle united will be 2nd division bound this coming season. Newcastle don’t have shit for yash. Let them go for Paul Onuachu. He is 27 and very good striker too. Going to Newcastle is a pure and real demotion to your skill. Thats how they ruined Martin (Oba-Goal) career from Inter Millan at his pick. Newcastle is a career killer for bright
South Americans and Senegalese young ones. I will not let that happen to you as an Edoson.
Tribalistic bastard
You this guy have started again, I noticed u do use my identity whenever you want to pass foul words to anybody.
Mark my words, u are pouring yourself a big cause.
By the time Nemesis catch up with u…
Are you stupid? Or are you the only Sean in this world? Or did you copyright the name?
@ Edoman, just think about any of your goes here for I don’t think I’ve ever had any difference with you or anybody here.

Newcastle of Obagoal is a different Newcastle now. Remember the club is now owned by Saudi consortium with massive money spend. Remember the calibre of players they bought in January made them to stay in the premier league. If the offer by Newcastle is tempting why not?
Behold! Manchester City was once like Newcastle. Good point@Baba.
I’ll see your response as Questions and , here are my answers…
1) I’m not Stupid. And
2) I’m not the only Sean in this world but Since I chose this very name before you on this very Platform, then I expect you that is not Stupid to choose another name or add some initials to avoid mistaken of identities.
We’ve seen “Sean” here and we know “Sean T ” and I believe his reason for the “T” is to avoid mistakes.
I won’t trade words with you but I’ll advise you to act maturely. This platform is for Adults.
l am highly encouraged by your civility and a strong sense of maturity here. Please, keep it up.
WADO! My brother, Maturity is always out there for Free but the question is, are we all interested? Thank you once more bro.
If he goes to Newcastle, they will soon tell you his real age is 32 or 34years..They have all kinds of stupid people in Newcastle who cares about AFRICAN PLAYERS REAL AGE and they use it to HAUNT them. Me I no dey for Newcastle wahala.
True dat! They love putting Nigerian players down and raising their own. If Osimhen goes to Newcastle it will be a big mistake.
Newcastle is going to be one of the top 4 clubsides at the premiership next season, the club have been bought by some billionaires from the middle east, we have to remember that Man city was even beneath New castle at the premiership a few years back until the investment from the same middle east pushed them to where they are today, before that was Chelsea football club which was a low leaguer until Ibrahimovic bought it. So Osimhen should accept Newcastle’s offer if it is juicy enough, afterall Napoli as a football club is not the best place for him. Many of his team mates always refuse to feed him with passes and their captain is so selfish to the point that he alone takes all their penalty kicks. I can’t imagine any other top clubside in Europe that does not allow their #9, i mean their top striker to take any penalty or even free kicks. Osimhen in most cases have to come back to the midfield to fight for ball because his teammates don’t pass to him enough, instead they shoot from all corners even from very tight corners rather than simply laying passes to their top striker. Osimhen blossomed in France because his teammates were always happy to lay passes to him. Personally, i believe Osimhen will do better in any other clubside where his teammates will see him as their TOP STRIKER.
