This is in fulfilment of Minister of Youth and sports Development Mr. Sunday Dare promise to restore it after years of inactivity.

Impressive. Kudos to the brains behind the resurrection of our national sporting edifices.
Meanwhile, Sierra Leone and Benin are still “covid-ing” each other for a place at Cameroon…Lol. The battle has been moved away from the soccer pitch to the COVID-19 testing labs now.
After the match was initially rescheduled from March to yesterday 14th June, it had to be rescheduled again after 6 S/L players where returned positive on matchday just after being pronounced negative less than 24 hours before. This is happening after 5 Benin players too where pronounced positive on match day in March, despite being negative just 24hrs before and then 24 hrs after matchday, when they returned to their bases in France.
Recall also our own Iwobi was singled out and returned positive on match day in Benin, just becaus they knew he was the playmaker of the team, whereas Ola Aina, whom he shares a bed with in camp, and the rest of the entire team whom he had been touching and interacting with was negative….only for him to return to Lagos and become negative again.
This whole drama may sound funny but it actually isn’t. With the final legs of the WCQ to be played on home and away basis, and black people being black people, I foresee a dangerous trend of using false Covid results to weaken opponents in order to gain undue advantage.
FIFA should please step in and not leave the incompetent CAF to be in charge
Lookman was in Lagos before his move to Leipzig, so the passport story is bullshit
So people who do not have Nigerian passports cannot visit Lagos…? LMAO. Or only people who have Nigerian passports can visit Nigeria…? Orisirisi….Lolz
Mr Peter, you are too funny…. Lol anybody can enter Nigeria either with Nigerian passport or not, that is the essence of securing visa and/or being under a visa free countries
Hmmm good news! I hope super eagles’ matches will be staged in Abuja sooner after the stadium become set for use again!
Benin republic vs Sierra Leone AFCON qualification drama still lingers on!
I see that CAF is not competent enough to run its affairs these days and I don’t really know why African contenent is this backwards mehn!
I hope the surulere national stadium too is getting ready for use comes September when the world cup qualifiers in Africa finally kicks off!
But guys! I am still getting surprised what does it really take to get intl passports for Nigerian eligible players who are willing to play for the super eagles these days?
Few days ago, we are made to understand that the reason FIFA has not deemed it fit to clear the likes of Lookman, Ejaria and Olise to start playing for Nigeria is solely due to inability of NFF get for them international passports…. Heeda! Which kind wahala be this na?
Today we will hear that they are cleared tomorrow we will hear that they are not yet cleared nawa o!
Its because we like running our mouths too much in public. Other nations do theirs discretely and wait till EVERYTHING is done and sealed before even saying anything about it in public, that is why some people still think international switches take just 2 weeks….LMAO…always making reference to Jamal Musiala and Aymeric Larpote, whereas these guys had already started the process months back. For example, It had already been agreed that Hansi Flick would replace Joachim Loew and Naglesman replace flick at Bayern since Dec 2020 but nobody said pim to the press till when the season was running to its end. That is how professional things like these are handled in organized climes.
But let Nigerian FF officials make 1 phone call with a player now, the next thing is that you will hear he has switched to Nigeria when 1 letter hasn’t even been typed yet…and then get disgraced when the said player comes out to debunk such stories. Our pressmen too need to do more in double-check on facts before rushing to press with unfounded stories.
The issue of non availability of passports, another national disgrace, is for another day. Nigerians and their livelihoods world over are currently in dire situations due to this gross incompetence on the part of those in charge.
We shall overcome.
@Dr Drey, you have taken the words out of my mouth, aptly stated.. Kudos bro
Hmmmm! The Man with fact, flow and flavour! Thank you sir for the clarification!
I just hope these aforementioned guys doesn’t end up playing for another nations before the needful is done most especially, Olise because we really need that rare-gem in our midfield set-up.
Thank you @Original Dr Drey!
Thanks brother. I also hope and pray too that we don’t lose special talents like these lot because of administrative inefficiencies.
Dr Dre!! U get mouth joor.keep it up
And Sierra Leone finally completes the 24 teams heading to the next AFCON after a tightly fought 1-0 win over Benin.
Did I hear someone say serves Benin right..? Yea….serves them right. They started this fake covid results thing first. Karma is always right.
Law of karma. Fake covid test will not guarantee you a ticket to participate in afcon. That is the lesson benin republic will learn from their failure to participate in the competition. Congratulations Sierra Leone.
If YOBO is not worthy enough to handle the home eagles then this country is a jerk by appointing someone who is not capable of handling our home eagles as the super eagles assistant coach. they know fully well that YOBO is not qualify yet they appoint him as assistant coach, which means he is just there to add numbers without adding anything technically nor tactically yet we blame the coach working without a good assistant. Enough of this if he can’t handle the home eagles then he should leave he is just a pundit. NFF IS REALLY BIZZARE THEY SHOULD STOP ALL THESE RUBBISH.
