England international Jonathan Joseph has signed a new deal with Bath.
The Premiership club have not disclosed the length of the new terms but the 27 year-old centre, who has recently been added to Eddie Jones’ England squad for the Six Nations, is delighted to commit his future.
He said: “One of my main reasons for staying with Bath is that I believe in everything we want to achieve together as a squad and how we plan to get there.
“I’m looking forward to the rest of the season and challenging for a place in the top four.”
Todd Blackadder, Bath’s director of rugby, believes Joseph is a key cog in the side and is pleased to keep him on board.
He added: “JJ has shown on numerous occasions for Bath and for England what a world-class player he is.
His knowledge of the game and attention to detail is second to none and we’re delighted to have secured his services for next season and beyond.”
Joseph has been with Bath since 2013 and has made 112 appearances for the club.
