Super Eagles forward Wilfred Ndidi is thinking of winning the Premier League top scorer award after netting his second goal of the campaign in Leicester City’s 5-0 home win against Newcastle United last weekend, reports Completesports.com.
Ndidi scored the Foxes fifth goal of the game of the game after strikes from Ricardo Pereira, a brace from Jamie Vardy and a Paul Dummett own goal propelled the former champions to third position in the table.
It was Brendan Rodgers’ men biggest-ever Premier League win.
“It was a great performance from the team because everyone was focused and we tried to move the ball very fast and with pace,” Ndidi told LCFC TV.
“I’m happy with the way the team is going. I am happy with the way the lads are playing and where we are now, so we just keep going and we try to make things.
“It can’t be perfect but we try to get there. Of course, game by game, every game we take as it is so we want to give everything in every game and we think the fans will also enjoy it.”
“Yes, it was a good goal! I’m happy with the goal. Maybe the Golden Boot’s coming!”
“It’s a team game, so it’s not (about) if you play attack, defence or midfield. We are just like a team, so we try to help each other. That’s it.”

Thank God you said ‘MAY BE’ because its not even sure for those who are leading currently, not to talk of you. but imposable is nothing, I am sure you can win best tackler. you are doing well brother, you are not an attacker and you are currently on two goals. my problem is Iheanacho, a defensive midfielder has two goals, but an attacker or a striker has not scored one goal in more than one year. Iheanacho the best thing for you, is to carry yourself and go to a small club that will have game time for you, and be patient with you.
Good luck bro but u have to add more gear because the award u used to win the best tackler Wan bissaka of man u is already in front of you my brother,go and make us proud,God bless you
Trust me, Nigeria will be hot favourite to win the next Afcon with all these dangerous kids want to pledge their international allegiance to Nigeria.
