Super Eagles midfielder Wilfred Ndidi has pleaded for more support from the fans ahead of Saturday’s 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifying clash against the Lone Star of Liberia.
Gernot Rohr’s charges will look to cement their place on top of Group C with a win against their fellow West Africans.
“We the players know what we want. They should just keep supporting us. We hope for the best. Hopefully we will come out victorious,”Ndidi told the Super Eagles media.

The rightful Captain!. You spoke well and have my full support!.
You are one of those people that always cause confusion around.
Rightful captain? How dare you disrespect our cap(Ahmed Musa). All this things you guys are doing up in this forum, I pray it doesn’t come back to hunt you guys o..
@MONKEY POST your captain not mine. Your “So called” Musa is lucky he is favoured by rohr and Naija Government, because on Merit again, He is not even in the Top 15 wingers we have in this land. So how can someone who is not even on the standard of the squad. knowingly hold his head high and claim captain. He should be ashamed of himself this shenanigans has to stop. we have weapons like , Lookman, Amoo, Dennis I could go on missing out because of your dubious Captain.
How Dare you, tell me How dare Me, for speaking the truth?.
I have said this for almost 2years now that Ndidi should be captain it is no secret
Thank you Ndidi. We are always there to support you Super Eagles but what we are not going to take from Oga Rohr and Amaju is corruption.
You guys are trying your best but the coach and NFF are letting you down.
That is why we are angry with Oga Rohr and Amaju period.
Good luck to you guys. One love. God bless Nigeria!!!
You already have the fans support.
God bless you guys.
May the players and coaches be blessed with the wisdom and discipline like in the last game. Amen
Bring on Algeria or Senegal with discipline the boys are good to go. I have optimism and confidence in players we have. Nobody is seeing what I’m seeing
