The most important part of the meeting was left out. Briefing by the sport minister preparatory to been named substantive captain of the super Eagles by the NFF
Nigerians and assumptions are 5 and 6.
Hopefully he won’t desert the team against South Africa as usual.
Exactly, he is never available when Nigeria needs him. He is also injury-prone, you can’t rely on his participation – of all the senior Eagles players he has the poorest match attendance. As is usual for Nigerians he is resorting to a political play because there is competition for his defensive midfield position from Onyeka. He is playing the same game as Ahmed Musa to suggest he is the substantive captain of the SE, which he is not. Troost and Moses Simon are ahead of him for the captain’s armband.
Moses Simon ke! You had me (Althohgh harsh on Wilf) but I was seeing your point until you name drop Moses Simon. Must we be so mediocre okay fine. Upon the Time Moses simon has been in major comps for SE when has he up his game in The business end of major tournaments or knock out cups?. Pls tell me has moses simon not only had 1 good game in SE then ghosts in more important ones. Do you people know the meaning of Captain of a team?? Go and see how Leicester fans are singling Vardy and Ndidi as the key to thier Premier league reinstatement.
A leader is not a flash in the pan player look Moses simon is not a captain material a captain must have x factor not average okay the last decent captain SE paraded was Mikel Obi. Did you see how he up his game in 2013 he and Big Vic Moses or 2018 WC qualifiers how Mikel, Victor Moses and Emenike uped thier game?. That is a captain and when Mikel Retired and Vic Moses have had no real leaders in the team exept Balogun, Ekong and now Ndidi and until recently Osimhen. No other player deserves it more than these 3. Infact we have been parading a fraud as captain until Ekong in this conculded AFcON..
So please you people should make better suggestions than Moses simon
