Wilfred Ndidi and Alex Iwobi were substituted at half time as Leicester City thrashed 10-man Arsenal 3-0 in their Premier League clash at the King Power Stadium on Sunday, reports Completesports.com.
Belgian midfielder Youri Tielemans and Jamie Vardy (brace ) scored the goals for the Foxes.
Arsenal were reduced to 10-men when Ashley Maitland-Niles was sent off for a second bookable offence in the 36th minute.
Ndidi, who picked a yellow card in the 13th minute of the highly entertaining encounter was replaced by Harvey Barnes in the 46th minute.
The Nigeria international came close to getting a goal in the 22nd minute of the game with a brilliant header from a corner but Bernd Leno produced an excellent save to deny him.
Ndidi, a former Genk of Belgium midfielder, has now featured in all of the Foxes’ 36 Premier League games this season and scored two goals.
His international teammate, Kelechi Iheanacho was an unused substitute for Leicester City in the game.
Arsenal winger Alex Iwobi started the game and was substituted at half time (46th minute) with Frenchman Laurent Koscielny tak his place.
