Super Eagles duo of Wilfred Ndidi and Kelechi Iheanacho were in action as Leicester City lost 2-0 to Arsenal in Sunday’s Premier League game at the Emirate Stadium.
Ndidi, who was making his 18th appearance in the colours of the Foxes gave a good account of himself.
He was however, substituted in the 61st minute for Nampalys Mendy.
Iheanacho on the other hand, had a decent performance but his effort was not enough to save Leicester City from defeat.
It was his 17th appearance for City as he was also substituted in the 74th minute for Daka.
The host took the lead in the 11th minute through Thomas Partey before Alexandre Lacazette doubled their lead in the 59th minute via a penalty.
The defeat means Leicester City sit 12th on 33 points while Arsenal move 4th on 51 points.

CSN, Ndidi was not subbed off, rather he was brought in at 2nd half to replace Mendy. It was Nacho who was subbed off for Saka at 73rd minute of play. Thanks.
**Daka
Why did Rogers not paired DaIs n Nacho in this crucial match for goodness sake
His selections sometimes is horrible
The Leicester Coach decided to lose the game to arsenal by resting ndidi till after 2 goals were scored . And again putting ihaenacho as his no 9 …. Ihaenacho is not no9 hope Eguaevon can see this . He can play at the back of attackers. For 30 mins only.
Rodgers is so stubborn. How can you play Kels up top alone without support he will obviously get isolated. I expected him to bring Daka in the second half to pair with kels…instead he replaced one for the other and the result was the same, Isolation for the striker.
