Wilfred Ndidi got very good rating for his impressive display in Leicester City’s 4-1 win at Southampton in the Championship on Friday night.
The rating was compiled by Leicester Mercury with Ndidi among those well rewarded for helping his side claim their biggest win under Enzo Maresca.
The Super Eagles midfielder scored his first league goal of the season after putting Leicester 3-1 up with a brilliant strike against the Saints.
He now has three goals in all competitions (one in the league and two in the Carabao Cup) this season for the Foxes.

For his effort Leicester Mercury rated Ndidi seven out of 10, and wrote:”The end-to-end nature of the game saw him passed by in the early stages, but he started to come into his own late in the first half, dribbling well and making himself a threat. He then scored a superb goal after showing off his twinkle toes.”
However, it was not the same for Kelechi Iheanacho who got a poor rating after coming on as a substitute.
Iheanacho was rated four for putting up an inspiring display.
Commenting on the former Manchester City player’s performance on the pitch, Leicester Mercury wrote:”He blew a golden chance for a first Championship goal of the season when played in by Fatawu, and his touch wasn’t as tight as usual.”
