Super Eagles midfielder Wilfred Ndidi got the highest rating after helping Leicester City overcome League Two club Tranmere Rovers, in round two of the Carabao Cup on Tuesday night.
The rating was done by sport media outfit Leicester Mercury.
Ndidi, who came on in the second half, opened the scoring in the 55th minute and provided the assist for Jamie Vardy for Leicester’s second goal on 59 minutes.
Following his impressive performance, Ndidi was rated eight out of 10, minute he highest by any Leicester player on the night.
Commenting on Ndidi’s display, Leicester Mercury wrote:”Just when it looks like Enzo Maresca’s experiment isn’t going to work, Ndidi comes up with a performance like that.
“His finish, if he meant it, was lovely, and his cross for Vardy’s header was pinpoint. Beyond that, he made good runs and was a threat throughout.”
Ndidi’s Nigerian teammate Kelechi Iheanacho did not feature for the Foxes as he was an unused substitute.

What do you mean ‘his finish if he meant it”???? U mean he never intended to score or he scored by mistake? Do you mean he can’t score cool goals? Why must u white writers put a degrading clause whenever u want to report on the good performance of african players? If he were a white would that clause be there?
