Wilfred Ndidi expects a serious test of Leicester City’s mettle when they take on Bristol City on Saturday.
The Foxes have won six out of their seven games in the Sky Bet Championship this season.
Enzo Maresca’s side will welcome Bristol City to the King Power Stadium this weekend.
Bristol City have lost just one of their opening seven matches in the Championship this term. Three wins and three draws leave them seventh in the table.
“It’s going to be a tough game,” Ndidi told the club’s official website.
“Everyone wants points against us because we’re on a good run. We don’t focus on being a team people want to beat. We just know what we need to do. We know we have to try and win games. There’s so many of them so everybody is ready. The guys who are starting, the guys who are coming on, the guys who are not playing, everybody is together. We are level-headed.
“There’s no guarantee we’re going to win games, there will be ups and downs. We’ll keep working and stick to the Manager’s philosophy.”
Ndidi and his international teammate Kelechi Iheanacho have featured regularly for the former Premier League champions this season.
The duo have scored a goal each in the current campaign.
Iheanacho scored the opening goal in Leicester City’s 2-0 win at Norwich City in midweek.
They are both in contention for Leicester City’s Goal of the Month for August.
