Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James has signed an extension to continue with the team for 1+1 years for $104 million.
His new contract does not include a trade clause but has a player option.
LeBron will continue to wear the Los Angeles Lakers jersey for the foreseeable future.
According to ESPN report, the prolific small forward agreed to a maximum contract of 1+1 years for $104 million with a player option.

Wojnarowski also notes that LeBron will consider his future in the NBA one season at a time, hence the format of the contract. Moreover, there is no trade clause in the agreement.
LeBron had previously opted out of his contract to pursue a better deal from the Los Angeles team. It looks like he got what he bargained for.
In the new Lakers, LeBron will collaborate with close friend J. J. Redick, who will coach the team, and Bronny James, his son, who was selected in the 2024 NBA Draft.
Last season, the legend-in-the-making averaged 25.7 points, 7.3 rebounds, and 8.3 assists per game.
