Napoli owner Aurelio De Laurentiis has reiterated that the club may still sell Super Eagles striker, Victor Osimhen before the expiration of his contract in 2025.
Recall that the Nigerian international’s future in Italy is in doubt, after the club’s official TikTok account mocked him for missing a penalty against Bologna.
However, in a chat with Football Italia, De Laurentiis stated that despite their verbal agreement with Osimhen, the club could still sell him just the way they sold Koulibaly to Chelsea one year before end of his deal.

“We verbally agreed on new deal in August, then if things change on his side… life goes on. Victor’s contract expires in June 2025, there’s always time. Remember, I sold Koulibaly to Chelsea one year before end of his deal.”
Osimhen, 24, fired Napoli to Serie A glory last season but his relationship with the Italian champions has soured in recent months.
The Super Eagles star has still fired six league goals this season, maintaining his reputation as one of the best strikers in Europe.
Personal life
Osimhen is a Christian. He has stated that he has drawn inspiration from Sadio Mané, who helps his community in Senegal, and has said he wants to help disabled people throughout Africa. Osimhen announced the birth of his first child, a daughter named Haly, born October 2022.

Pls sell him, there is nothing left the guy has to offer Napoli again.
Obviously your club can’t win championship. Please let the boy go to another more aspiring club.
Also stop scaring clubs away with unreasonable high price tag. Napoli stand to lose out if you continue to adopt that evil tactics.
De Laurentiis is so delusional that he thinks Napoli is like Real Madrid or something or he thinks the soccer world revolves around Napoli. I hope African players stay away from this club in future.
