Arsenal’s hopes of signing Victor Osimhen this summer could see the Gunners swapping Emile Smith Rowe and Takehiro Tomiyasu with Napoli for the Nigerian.
The Premier League giants are in search of a top striker this summer with many believing it is the only missing piece in Mikel Arteta’s team.
Osimhen is regarded as one of the best strikers in Europe and has been linked with a potential move to the Emirates for quite some time.
The top scorer in 2022/23 Serie A season has a £110m release clause and Corriere dello Sport, via Daily Mail, and Transfer News claim there has been little indication that any club will be willing to meet that price.
Transfer News and the Mail report states that Osimhen is keen on a move to the Premier League and the north London outfit have ‘resurfaced’ with their interest.
Their source claims one way around the price tag could be a swap deal with Napoli picking out two Arsenal players.

One is Tomiyasu, who the Italian side wanted to sign back in January before he put pen to paper on a new deal.
The other is Smith Rowe, who only started three top flight games last season but remains a popular and highly-rated figure at the Emirates.
Chelsea are another club in the mix but Osimhen is said to be waiting for an offer from Arsenal.
The Gunners have also been strongly linked with other strikers in the form of Benjamin Sesko and Alexander Isak since their season came to a close.
Osimhen is currently injured and would miss the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against South Africa and Benin Republic.
He is yet to feature in any of the qualifiers after also missing the Eagles’first two Group C games against Lesotho and Zimbabwe.
After 1-1 draws in the games against Lesotho and Zimbabwe the Eagles are currently in third position.
They will hope to secure a first win when they host South Africa on Friday in Uyo.

Sad to see that Victor’s value and recognition is fast plummeting. I hope every Nigerian player will focus more on consistency because an average season will see your worth plummet like we’re noticing with Victor who’s lacking suitors to meet his release clause.
Osimhen’s Agent should have tried to talk Napoli to lower that price De Laurentis set Osimhen up with this humongous price tag, I hope he doesn’t end up moving to Saudi as they are the only ones who will pay that price without batting an eye and also coming off a season in which Napoli didn’t do too well is not helping him gain suitors….The one good thing is that Osimhen scored 15 goals despite being out with injuries numerous times during the season. Chelsea are already out, PSG is out too……I don’t know of too many clubs interested in him at this point due to the release clause.
He shd try to stay fit first, they prefer grooving to there chosen career, nobody wanna gamble on a player with such heavy price tag and he won’t be able to play 50% of ur season matches, hazard is a prime example.
He also mysteriously came up with some injury when he should be helping us in this crucial wcq…….It has happened so many times with Napoli anf Osimhen with these fake injuries either for a national team friendly or crucial qualifiers …Players like Ronald tried their best never to miss a match even if it was againast Andorra. Every game affords you the opportunity to increase ur caps and goals to enhance your records.
Once again i see this guy going to saudi, He was setup with that contract he signed with that stupid clause.
I will advice him to stay put in Napoli if transfer will not come through. I know one thing Napoli too can’t afford osihmen wages, Yes the very one he signed with them. That will allow them to lower the asking price of the guy.
