Napoli have made a €25million offer to sign Manchester United midfielder Scott McTominay, according to Sky Sports (via ESPN).
Negotiations are believed to be ongoing between both clubs, with the Serie A side keen to sign the 27-year-old on loan with a permanent clause that they would have a mandatory obligation to activate next summer.
Despite being open to parting ways with him in the current transfer window, €25m is reportedly short of the Red Devils’ valuation, and they have previously been said to be holding out for closer to €35million.
McTominay has made appearances in both matches for manager manager Erik ten Hag’s side so far this season, most recently coming on as a substitute in last week’s 1-0 Premier League victory over Fulhamat Old Trafford.
The Scotland international has made a total of 253 career club appearances since his debut in May 2017.
