Victor Osimhen has been tipped by
Napoli teammate and centre-back, Amir Rrahmani, to go on and ‘do important things’ for the Italian club when the 2020/21 Serie A season gets underway.
Osimhen has become Nigeria’s most expensive player ever, beating Alex Iwobi’s record following his €70m summer transfer from Lille to Napoli in the Italian Serie A.
The Super Eagles striker has so far scored bagged two hat-tricks in as many pre-season appearances for the Partenopei, making it a total of six goals in just two friendly games.
Radio Kiss Kiss asked Kosovo international, Rrahmani: “This summer since joining Napoli, Victor Osimhen has performed very well, as a defender, do you think that he is truly a difficult striker to mark?

And 26 year old new signing, just like Osimhen himself, answered: “Osimhen made a great impression on us, he can certainly do important things. But in attack, we have a lot of quality players.
“I think the team is competitive and I’m sure that by working hard, we will find the right balance on the pitch.”
Osimhen had 18 goals and six assists in 38 games for French Ligue 1 club, Losc Lille, last term.
