The Blues, according to reports are keen to sign him on loan with a buy option.
“He (Osimhen) asked to leave, we are calm because we have players in the squad who can replace him in the best way,”Manna told SportmediaSet
“However, we do not want to harm the integrity of the group and want to preserve it. We will see what will happen in the next few days.”
The former Lille striker was not included in Napoli’s squad for the Coppa Italia clash with Modena on Saturday.

Smh, nigerian footballers are their own demise of their own careers. He been unprofessional since expressing his joy of playing in the premier league while currently being employed under another team. I tell you his career will go down from here. All nigerians care about is playing for the premier league because nigerians are in the uk or thats the only league they watch. So now they can shaku shaku. Most nigerians in the premier league ceiling is the top of the bottom of the table (11 and below) or get relegated
You have to understand that a lot of premier league clubs especially bottom clubs are the ones who will sign nigerians, rarely a top club. Plus is a reverse psychology tactic. A lot of the times its rumors or bait and then the nigerian players will come running. Its mostly the nigerians chasing premier clubs, not the other way around.
But this is getting ridiculous. I dont know if john obi mikel or some Nigerian in the backroom staff telling the owner to sign players who have a nigerian background, this is an overkill. This cements what I have been saying that Nigerians only know premier league and thats it. They got madueke, chukwuemeka, ugochukwu, and now adarabioyo. But how many forwards do chelsea need?
These American owners need to stop buying players just to please english people. I know they dont know the game but football is a good business to be in especially since its the most popular sport in the world, there is a a lot of money in it. Shit they were playing copa america on big screens in las vegas. All these former players telling the chelsea, arsenal or man utd owner to buy certain players and they fall for it. And when the players are a bust they come bashing the american owners that they know nothing. This is inevitable
But de lantis is ruthless owner, he aint letting up, see arsenal asking for them to lower the price on osimhen. Notice how its the clubs with american owners buying so much or expensive players. You dont see non american owners doing these things. American owners are set up to fail to win over fans, they were protesting against american owners saying they ruining the sport, love the american money. They are especially envious how they have more money than the english people.
And the english media is ruthless, osimhen aint ready for that. jadon sancho went back on ten hag on social media because he got called out on his performance and he was sent out on loan. lukaku said he wanted to play and go back to inter milan, he got sent on loan. osmhen lives on offside and will shoot the ball early so he wont be challenge and doesnt show up on big game. This boy will be eaten alive jare
If his career don’t go down you will go and bring it down yourself(OLODO ) can’t you mind your business? Somebody is looking for the best for himself you guys are here trying to wish him bad.
You’re misleading people with your ignoramus analysis…. passion without knowledge.
Dang, yall really are broke. Yall cant really afford to watch osimhen outside of the premier league
You said a whole lot of nothing. Your comment is not valuable like your life, take your leave imbecil
Hehehehehe am sure you guys are not surprised that am here..cos any thread that has to do with my friend osimhen I must be there..lolz…
But anyway sha… the only way I will forgive osimhen for his sins on legendary FINIDI and naija fans is if he joins Chelsea my beloved club…. lolz…

I hope other black/African players will avoid Napoli like a plague. This man is supposed to be a legend in Napoli, but they are treating him like crap. If you’re black just stay away for De Laurentis
Why is he not ranting now. Why not call ogun on Conte.
Haba,Mr Haruna! How knows knows his short-term madness, as said by Amaju Pinnick, must not be displayed at that level. He knows the consequences will be greater than than the consequences of what he did did in Nigeria. He must have thought that the worst they would do for him in Nigeria is to stop him from playing for the national team! Probably, he will learn to respect the elders now! Infact, he disappointed so many people who stood for him. Am sure some of them must even be skeptical of relating with him, knowing he might empLot Ogunto fight for him! A question is that why did he even wait for Finidi to drop his resignation letter before his ranting!
@Gbenga, have been waiting patiently for him to come out and rant against conte for not featuring him in the pre-season. I bet Conte would have thought I don’t need any hot head in my team and envisioned clashing with him. Didn’t he clash with spalleti when he was still coach at Napoli. Waiting for his Ogun to go destroy napoli
The problem with you and your lot is that you can’t comprehend simple English language sentences let alone a full story…
So nothing to explain to you
And what’s their to comprehend, that he made a request to move? Have you taken your time to ask yourself why. Isn’t he the daring of Napoli again. In just 2 years he is asking to move, why? Maybe you can tell me why Conte doesn’t seem him fit to ba a part of his squad. Why not chase Kvaratskhelia away, is he better than Oshimen, which is No. His attitude is part of why he doesn’t want him. Coaches are not that dumb and stupid like you. He better take the offer in Saudi and come back in 2 years time to europe
Na only in nigeria and on black coach dem dey get power..
What an inferiority complex..smh…
Lol… exactly haruna why didn’t osimhen go on Instagram live to start ranting on conte for not using him in preseason or rant on the club for not letting him go and putting too much price tag on him to scare buyers.(hehehe oga did not know that it is his indiscipline that is scaring opponent and not the other way round)
Scaring buyers and his current club
Or let him just tweet about his current transfer back and forth predicament or write and post it on Instagram if him get mind… lmao…
If dem dey oyibo land dem go dey behave dem selves and dem go dey talk tru their lawyer, agent or representative but for naija na ogun be their agent…hahahahahaha
May God help Osimhen to overcome his present travails and also forgive him his sins against elderly ones he might have wrong during the course of his actions and utterances in Jesus name
I can’t help but laugh at the level of ignorance of many people on how big money transfers work….LMAOoo.
To these diabolic bunch, osimhen is currently experiencing a “great tribulation” because he ratted out an ungreatful betrayer…..LMAOoo.
Maybe the likes of Onuachu, Onyedika, Torunarigha and even Lukaku too need to go beg Finidi for their own transfers to go through also….LMAOoo.
Transfers these days are all about the books. All those who are involved in Osimhen’s transfer are just playing chess and waiting for who would blink first. 30m is a whole lot of money for any club to shave off the value of their asset. 30m can pay the entire napoli squad for a season…30m can build a new training centre for the team….30m can renovate the estadio Maradona….30m can build a new academy or upgrade the existing one…..30m can do a whole lot. So people must understand the reluctance of Dé laurentis in shaving off 30 whole million off a player’s value. So if he’s gonna sell Osimhen at a cheaper price….he won’t make is easy for any club that will eventually buy him…..he will want to push them to the wire. And that is why we hear clubs pulling out of a deal and then coming back again to the table after a while. As the season draw near, the reality of the need for a marquee signing always becomes more glaring and an adamant club may be forced to shift ground eventually. It was like that with both Ronaldo and Bale’s world record transfers as well as Declan Rice’s british record transfer to Arsenal.
As the season also draw nearer and the transfer window nears closing date, the reality that Osimhen’s value will drop below the 100m mark should he remain at Napoli will also dawn on De laurentis coupled with the fact that keeping an unhappy player in the club yet paying him over 200k per week will yield little to no business returns. And I dare say NO COACH will keep a 200k per week club top scorer for the past 3 seasons on the bench…..not even the eccentric Antonio Conte. Napoli just played Modena (A Seria B club i guess) in the coppa Italia days ago and couldn’t find the back of the net for 120 minutes…talk more of when they start playing fellow Seria A clubs.
So it’s a tit for tat business chessboard game going on out there with those involved looking for the best deals possible for themselves.
And for the ignorant ones amongst yall, when a transfer talks are going on about a player, you don’t play him to forestall any case of the player getting injured. No club buys injured players. An injury to Osimhen ruins the transfer prospects completely….that is why he’s not featuring in pre season.
5 years ago, 130m wouldn’t be so much money for most clubs, but these days you have to sell in almost equivalent value to be able to buy at such amount. Any club that will purchase osimhen now should have freed up at least 200m in their books over a 5 year Duration. It’s simple basic but top level book keeping…LMAOoo.
Osimhen is the beautiful bride in all of these. He stays in Napoli….he plays and still earn his 200k plus for 2 season. If they chose to put him on the bench…..it’s their loss. He moves, he’s still cool, he wouldn’t earn any less anywhere he goes….the Saudis are even ready to pay him up to a million per week…..LMAOoo
And if yall choose not to invite him to the national team….it’s still your loss. It’s bad enough that the SE is coachless just 3 weeks to a double header AFCON qualifier against 2 of the teams already ahead of us in WCQ, it will be worse to now leave out arguably the SE’s biggest, best and most committed player in addition to that.
So those who are waiting for Osimhen’s downfall can continue waiting ehn….LMAOoo
God Bless you @ Dr Drey.
I am totally perplexed by the ignorant statements driven by hate for Osimhen.
I for one, was greatly against the way he vented his feelings (which are justified) against Finidi, ı felt there were better ways to have communicated such. But to keep hating him on that is simply insanity. Will you kill your son cause of a mistake?
What will these vengeful group do happen when Osimhen finally makes that move?
No matter what you say. and no matter how much you try to revision facts, Osimhen is always quality, the record says so.
