Nantes manager Antoine Kombouare has suggested that he was hoping for a good performance from Moses Simon in Sunday’s Ligue 1 clash against Lens.
The Canaries were held to a 0-0 draw by Lens at the Stade de la Beaujoire- Louis Fonteneau.
Both teams were unable to find the net for 90 minutes despite Nantes having 12 shots and Lens having eight.
In the post match conference, Koumbouare acknowledged Simon’s great consistent performances.

“Sometimes we make changes for new blood, but since the boys were working together, mentally strong, I didn’t want to disturb them,” Kombouare told the club’s official website.
“Given Simon’s performance over time, I was hoping for a shine, but they took him down the whole match.
“Pallois, pelvis problem. We hope it’s not muscular.”
Simon has scored three goals and registered one assist in six French Ligue 1 games this season.
Nantes are currently 15th in the French Ligue 1 with seven points from eight games.
