Secretary General of the Nigeria Olympics Committee (NOC) Tunde Popoola believes the Super Falcons have enough quality to make it to the podium at the 2024 Olympic Games.
The nine-time African champions are pitched in a tough group with world champions Spain, Brazil and former world champions Japan.
Despite the quality of opposition in the group, Popoola tipped the Super Falcons to return home with a medal.
“We have a strong football team, I will tip them for a medal,” Popoola boasted.

Randy Waldrum’s side will begin their campaign in Paris against Brazil at the Stade Bordeaux next week Thursday.
The West Africans are making a return to the Olympics after a 16-year absence.

Podium finish..Tall order not impossible but preparation wise, not possible. if they manages to get out of their group, for me, they have done enough.
Leave those politicians same way they are deceiving Nigerians with their mishandling of affairs no wonder he will tip falcons to podium for flattering reasons when he knows the reality.
