The 33-year-old was the only Al Hilal player who make the selection.
Ighalo also made the team last season after helping Al Hilal win the title.

The Nigerian has already quit the Blue Waves following the expiration of his contract.

HOPE PESERO extend an INVITATION to ODION JUDE IGHALO for the SIERRA LEONE GAME? DUDE still gat some GAS in the TANK!!!
Ighalo is not on the Level of even Awoniyi as off now. and Osimhen is above Awoniyi, then we have Victor Boniface and Gift Orban, When Umar Sadiq regains full fitness he is also above Ighalo as of now. Guy @MONKEY POST it is high time you start appreciating the young talents we have and stop living in the past with your Ighalo talks. He has done his best!!!!
@UGO IWUNZE WE NEED the TESTED, TRUSTED and EXPERIENCED LEGS of IGHALO to join FORCES with the TALENTED LEGS of VICTOR OSIMHEN..
Ighalo is a must for AFCON.One of the best attackers in the world cannot be ignored by Nigeria on grounds of age.
Ako Amadi is one of the clowns on this page I’m surprised you are responding to him. You people are not ashamed of yourself after all Ighalo has done to us at World Cup and Afcon. Complete sports is showcasing them due to the fact that their career will end soon and the fact that he is making Arab money. Arab league is for players ending their career and such players can not be fit like European league players. This is not a debate Ighalo is not needed the list of our strikers is overwhelming to be looking for retirees.
@Chima Gbam no mind dem Sabotagist all of dem na wettim dem be. And @Ako Amadi Ighalo was never one of the best strikers in the world and he cerntainly is not that now. Osimhen has reached a height Ighalo did not reach in Football and Osimhen is currently 2nd Best Striker in the World and could be best next season if all goes well in Spain or England Move. And You are here talking of Ighalo when Osimhen is miles aheafd what ighalo ever was. Awoniyi even is showcasing talents similar to Ighalo of Watford Days, and even He is below Osimhen on the pecking order. so @MONKEY POST and @Ako Amadi GETAT!!!!!!!!!
THANK YOU @AKO AMADI! @UGO it is you that WE are supposed to ask what are you SMOKING.. Do you Know the meaning of one of the best atall? HE didn’t say the BEST. He made it simple by saying “one of”
We are talking about national/African football you are there calling spain Japan Tokyo LMFAO..
That’s where most of you get it wrong!
@MONKEY POST my friend Shut up. You are an agency of Destruction for Super Eagles!
Mind you through out the year, you will always remain silent den come International Window you will resurface and start clamoring for destructive suggestions for Player invites in Super Eagles which is why I saidall those months ago that you are a Ghanain forming to be Naija! Mtcheew!! African Football Ko African Football Ni. Abeg make we hear word Jare!!!!!!!!!!!!
You forgot the “TESTED, TRUSTED and EXPERIENCED LEGS” of Ahmed Musa. By the way, the only goal Musa has scored recently is in the “ozzaa room”. He has performed for his wife more times this year than played a competitive match.
