Crystal Palace boss Roy Hodgson has been pleased by the impact made by Michy Batshuayi and feels his side are already better with him.
The striker, on loan from Chelsea for the remainder of the season, has already had an impact with the Eagles since his arrival last month on deadline day.

Batshuayi came on as a substitute and helped Palace secure a 2-0 win over fellow strugglers Fulham in his first game and now Hodgson feels the Belgium international will have a big influence at Selhurst Park for the remainder of the campaign. “We think we’ve signed a player who will be of enormous value to us in our attempts to stay in this league,” Hodgson said.
“I think the squad without him was good, but he… will make us stronger and we need that.”
Palace will be looking to keep their three-match unbeaten run going when they host West Ham United in the Premier League on Saturday.
