Remo Stars Franck Mawuena has been invited by Togo for their 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying double-header against the Desert Foxes of Algeria.
It’s first time Mawuena has been called up by the West African country.
The striker recently renewed his contract with Remo Stars.
He has registered one goal and one assist for the Sky Blue Stars this season.

The player was part of the Remo Stars squad that finished second in the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL), last season, netting six times.
Meanwhile, Remo Stars have congratulated the talented forward on his invitation.
“Our striker, Franck Mawuena has received a call-up to the Togolese squad for this month’s 2025 African Cup of Nations qualifying matches against Algeria,” the club wrote on X.
“Congratulations, Franck – we’re so proud of you.”
