Jose Mourinho showed his thanks to a quick thinking Tottenham ball boy after Harry Kane scored against Olympiacos.
Striker Kane tapped in after Lucas Moura’s perfectly paced cut back to draw Spurs level with the Greek side in their Champions League clash at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
But it was the ingenuity between a ball boy and Serge Aurier in build-up before Moura took over which caught Mourinho’s attention.
After winning a quick throw-in mid-way into the Olympiacos half, the boy on the sidelines smartly chased the ball and dispatched to right-back Aurier.
Mourinho made a point of moving down the touchline to find the ball boy and shock his hand with a warm embrace.
After the match the ‘Special One’ said: “To do that you have to be a very good ball boy. I was, between 10 and 16 years old a very good ball boy and he was a very good ball boy.
“He was reading the game and wasn’t looking at the stands. I wanted to invite him to the dressing room to celebrate with the players but he had disappeared.”

Tottenham vs Olympiacos
good ball boy.
For the first time in football, a BALL BOY could have been in the running for man of the match. His quick thinking was invaluable to Tottenham at that moment. They should give him a share of the match bonus. He deserves it.
