Fenerbahce manager,
Jose Mourinho has criticised Bright Osayi-Samuel following the team’s s 2-0 win over Bodrum FK.
Osayi-Samuel featured for the entire duration of the game.
Fenerbahce ended a three-game winless following the impressive home win.
The Nigeria international opted to go for glory instead of passing to a better positioned teammate in the first half of the encounter.
Mourinho labelled the player ‘selfish’ for his action.
“I’m happy for the 3 points, but it was sad that we couldn’t create and capitalize on so many chances,” Mourinho was quoted by Kontraspor.
“We scored a goal from a rebound. Irfan Can Kahveci’s volley was nice, and Osayi-Samuel had a position in the first half, but he was selfish there. We could have finished the match in the first half, but we couldn’t.”
