Chelsea manager Frank Lampard says Victor Moses is not in his plans this season, reports Completesports.com.
Moses established himself as a key figure at right-wing back under Antonio Conte, but struggled to hold down a regular berth under his successor Maurizio Sarri.
The 29-year-old later spent time on loan at Turkish Super Lig club Fenerbahce and Serie A giants Inter Milan.
The former Wigan Athletic player is back at Stamford Bridge and recently scored in a friendly against Wimbledon.
Moses was not allotted a jersey number by Chelsea for the 2020/2021 season casting doubts about his future at the club.
There were talks he could still feature for the Blues this season following their hectic schedule and injuries to Christian Pulisic and Hakim Ziyech.

“At the moment, Victor isn’t in that moment with us. He isn’t in the bubble with us at the training ground but I know him well and trained with him,” Lampard told a news conference on Monday.
Moses joined Chelsea from Wigan in 2012. He scored 20 goals in 100 league appearances for the West London club.
He is expected to leave the club before the end of the current transfer window.

This is d consequence of over value club seriously ahead of national team. In 2015 & 2016 u over value Chelsea by refusing not to participate in FIFA CONFEDERATION CUP & AFCON qualifier.See how Chelsea is paying u back.Although u highly most VIP in Super eagle during ur time. U didn’t show up for two AFCON qualifiers in 2015 & 2017 edition,Nigeria suffered by not qualified for both editions.U deserves respect than what is happening to u now.Pls forget Chelsea and look for club elsewhere like d case of LUIZ,WILLIAN.
Just be careful o…. They will say your comments are masquerading evil intentions… Ha ha ha ha.. I am just joking o. Make I go watch my program Glory the Evil Content Slayer, sorry, Buffy the Vampire Slayer… Ha ha ha!!! My belle o, my head o!!!
This is what I call criticism filled with love and reasoning. Igbekun Abo learn from people like Tunde and d rest. Nothing will ever make me go against comment like this because it comes with the smell of love for Moses who truly got his priorities wrong and now seem not to know who to run to. I bet if he had stayed loyal to the national team, he would have used the national team platform to advertise himself to other bigger clubs who will come scrambling for his signature. Thumbs up @ Tunde.
Fool. So you are now the one who will determine when a player resigns from national duties. And for your information, fool, there are many players who retired early from international football whose club careers have had more stability as a result. Linking Victor Moses’ struggles in club football with his early retirement from the Super Eagles is an explanation put forward by some fans but rejected by others. Just because a fan takes one of the two possible explanations does not make them harbour hidden evil intentions. Only a bird brain lunatic like you will fail to grasp this.
Constructive criticism is founded on genuine concerns that searches for solutions to amends. To amend something we recognise/ appreciate it’s value. And in trying to amend, Constructive criticism comes up with all the possible reasons that could lead to such concerns, just so solutions can be applied. Only shallow brains or rather evil people will criticize without pointing out possible reasons for decline but very quick to write off.
What a load of rubbish. Constructive criticism is staying away from something you don’t understand or something your limited cognitive abilities fail to stretch far enough to grasp. Glory, nobody, I repeat, nobody made you a moderator on this platform. You have no right to bully and harass people simply because their submissions do not fit into your self-serving definition of ‘constructive criticisms’. One man’s meat is another man’s poison, or you’ve never heard that, fool. If you think that you have the license to bully and harass people simply because your interpretation of their submission fits your definition of what good and evil is, then you are mad, actually, you are crazy. You are so full of yourself and you are so full shit. Your mental degeneration and cognitive impairments are always laid bare in some of your submissions and your pathetic attempts at explaining why you bully and harass others makes you a two time loser. You are such a worthless idiot.
A lunatic is one who attacks people without a genuine reason. We now know who the lunatic is.
Ndubuisi, this is not your fight….
And, Ndubuisi, come to think of it, you are actually right. A lunatic is truly someone who attacks people without genuine reason.
Well said.
@ igbekun. please put this issue to rest. its taking too long and its nolonger pleasing to the eyes of other forumites. here is not place for fighting. if you have any isue here it shouldnt be morethan oneday. exept there is somethin more to it. if its about football then let it go. even players fight in the field of play after that match everybody moves on. continuity of it to almost a week is not speaking good of you. me my self i have had arguiment with defferent forumites here it doesnt extend morethan that particular subject talkless of days for an internet friend. even women will not do this. new topic new gist please. same to Glory you guys should pls drop it.
How will someone as wise as you Collins speak to me and I will not listen. All I can say is that I will try. But be in no doubt, I have utmost respect for 99% of contributors on this forum including Ndubuisi. But when people think that the world has to dance to their tune of what constitutes good or bad, it boils my blood really badly. I will do my best to keep off this person so long as he keeps well away from me too. But if I see him bully and harass people like Victor and others, I will come out all guns blazing. We don’t have to suffer because of his life experiences. We don’t have to suffer because of the way he interprets information. We don’t have to suffer because of his world views based around juju and fetish explanations to what he lacks the capacity to understand.
So, I will try to let the matter rest. I love 99% of everyone here. You guys are the greatest. I will leave it there for now.
I used to like Chelsea as a team not until Lampard played a role in making sure Nigeria lose two good players in the person’s of Tomori and Abraham.
Though he claimed not to be involved in players decisions on nationality choice but i do not trust his words,i perceived the players were left with no choice.Things happens behind the back the ones we don’t know which is different from what we read on the sports pages of newspapers. The likes of Moses will struggle under a English manager because he chosed Nigeria over England.
Moses flourished under Conte as manager of Chelsea, but i don’t think that would have been the case if Lampard was the manager then.
However,Moses is better of moving on from Chelsea and seek employment elsewhere.I wish a great player for Nigeria who left with fond memories a great future.
Like Rohr said the door is wildly open to you should you have a change of mind, please do.
If the poor results continue, Lampard will soon find that he himself is no longer in Chelsea’s plans.
What exactly are Lampard’s plans? A coach with a plan is someone like Klopp. Signing Thiago Alcantara and Diogo Jota is evidence that Klopp has a plan. Unlike Lampard, who signed a 36yr old Thiago Silva to come and play in the premiership. Lampard, who has still not figured out how to best use the players at his disposal. If he says he has plans, the fans would love a peek at them!
I really hope Lampard comes to grips with this job soon. At the moment, the guy seems to be all at sea. Confused and clueless. And Chelsea fans are suffering. This is not the Chelsea that the fans want.
