Victor Moses is delighted with Fenerbahce’s performance in Monday’s 5-0 thrashing of Gazisehir Gaziantep in their Turkish Super Lig game and also appreciates the home fans for their overwhelming support, Completesports.com reports.
The former Nigeria international winger opened scoring for the home team with a penalty kick in the sixth minute of the encounter.
The Chelsea loanee however missed another penalty in the 13th minute before laying an assist for Morocco’s Nabil Dirar to score Fenerbahce’s fourth goal of the night.
Moses was replaced by Ferdi Kadioglu 13 minutes from full time.
A delighted Moses took to the Social Media to applaud his teammates over what he termed an ‘unbelievable performance’ and also expressed his happiness on getting a goal in the game.
“What a win! Unbelievable performance from the boys. On a personal level, great feeling to be on the scoresheet again too & thanks to our fans for the amazing support as always,” Moses tweeted on his Twitter platform.
The Yellow Submarines’ next league game is against Istanbul Basaksehir on Saturday.
