Victor Moses believes Fenerbahce have picked valuable lessons in their pre-season friendly defeats to European giants Bayern Munich and Real Madrid, reports Completesports.com.
The Turkish Super Ligue side were humiliated 6-1 in their penultimate friendly by Bayern Munich before succumbing to another 5-3 loss to Real Madrid on Wednesday night at the Allianz Arena, Munich.
The former Nigeria international says the experience is good for the team ahead of the new season.
“The pre-season games were good. We met very strong teams like Bayern Munich and Real Madrid. It was also good to see our shortcomings. It also makes you feel fit against such large teams,” Moses told Fenerbahce’s official website.
“We need to learn from the matches here and develop things that will help us in preparing for the season. So I believe it is a very good experience for us.”
Moses joined Fenerbahce on an 18- month loan deal from Premier League club, Chelsea in January.
Fenerbahce will kick off their 2019/2020 league campaign with an home game against Gazişehir Gaziantep on Saturday, August 17th.
