Retired Nigeria international,Victor Moses could be back in competitive football action tonight at Wembley stadium where Chelsea will engage Tottenham in the first semi-final of the EFL Cup (Carabao Cup), Completesports.com reports.
Moses made a surprise appearance on Chelsea’s bench in last weekend’s 2-0 defeat of Nottingham Forest in a FA Cup Third Round clash at Stamford Bridge,71 days after he last made Mauriccio Sarri’s matchday squad list, and the Nigerian could be hoping for a miracle to make his second start of the season tonight.
Moses’ first and only start of the on-going season came in the EFL Cup victory over Liverpool at Anfield last September and the sought-after wing-back cum winger could make his 20th appearance in the competition since August 2008 when he made his debut in Crystal Palace’s 2-1 defeat of Hereford at Selhurst Park.

The most capped Nigerian in the EFL Cup ,Moses, will also be eager to increase his goals haul to at least five to move clear of Kelechi Iheanacho into fourth position behind the trio of Yakubu Aiyegbeni (7 goals in 13 games),Nwankwo Kanu (7 goals in 17 games) and Foluwashola Ameobi who has scored six times in 12 appearances.
Moses will also be hoping to score the winner against Tottenham for the second time following his goal in Chelsea’s 2-1 defeat of Mauriccio Pochetino’s men in a premier league game in November 2016.

Completesports or whatever, you should please stop mentioning Victor Moses because he won’t play for Chelsea anymore ,it is like a his paying you guys to keep publishing him or what, am sick and tired of your news bringing him up every day.Jeez get better this year and stop mentioning players who are not even on the bench for their club side, he doesn’t exit in Chelsea team anymore
rubbish comment…. what makes it complete if they leave out any info and besides, moses is someone all eyes are on due to the supremo of NFF efforts in bringing him back for afcon ( though I think it is of no need, moses has paid his dues…we have guys like kalu, simon, henry, Samuel, lookman, musa on our flanks for crying out loud!)
Give us update on Nigerian players dooing well, switching teams in transter window but please stop wasting space on a player that is not ready to help himself, he needs to be hungry to play when the opportunity arises but from what ive seen so far this season, he hasnt.
