Huddersfield Town midfielder Aaron Mooy has reportedly emerged as a summer transfer target for Newcastle United.
Australia international Mooy has been a leading figure for the Terriers since joining on loan from Manchester City for the 2016/17 season and he played a huge part in helping the club avoid Premier League relegation in the 2017/18 campaign.
Unfortunately for Huddersfield, it seems inevitable they will be dropping down to the Championship this term and their fate could be sealed this weekend if results go against them.

A number of players are expected to depart the John Smith’s Stadium and Mooy, who joined permanently from City in the summer of 2017, is believed to have a number of admirers.
Newcastle is believed to be one of those clubs chasing the midfielder’s signature and the Magpies are hoping they can steal a march on their rivals ahead of the upcoming transfer window.
With just over a year left on Mooy’s contract, it is claimed a bid around £15million would be enough to tempt Huddersfield into selling their talisman.
