Monaco have confirmed they have signed Lyle Foster from Orlando Pirates on a deal until June 2023. The 18-year-old has been described as a promising South Africa youth international and he made headlines last season, becoming the youngest Pirates player to score an official goal when he bagged against Polokwane City.

He wrote on Instagram: “A very exciting start to the new year. I would like to thank Orlando Pirates for giving me the opportunity to start my professional career, my trainer club, the club that moulded me into the man I am today.
“To be at the club since age of 12 is something I’m really proud of and I will always be grateful to Orlando Pirates.
“I’m ready to take this new step in my career and be a little closer to my dream with Monaco. I’m grateful for the opportunity and ready to fight for my dream.”
