Monaco have turned down an offer from Turkish Super Lig champions Galatasaray to extend Henry Onyekuru’s loan deal until the end of the season, reports Completesports.com.
Onyekuru’s previous six-month loan deal with Galatasaray expired on June 30.
Galatasaray announced earlier this week that the versatile winger has been recalled by Monaco.

According to several reports in Turkey, Monaco have now refused to allow the Nigerian take part in Galatasaray’s remaining games this season after another bold move by the Turkish club.
Onyekuru is now expected in France on Saturday (today) following the futile effort to extend his stay in Turkey.
The 23-year-old scored one goal in 10 league appearances for Galatasaray before his departure.
He made just four league appearances for Monaco before the loan move to Galatasaray in January.

I don’t get it,the league was called off in France, right now preseason is yet to start. So why are they against Onyekuru playing the few games left for the season in Turkey with Galatasaray?Strange decision that.
Not a strange decision. Decision made according to the terms of agreement. His stay ended in June according to contract agreement.
It’s not even strange because the way Onyekuru has been over the moon with Gala since the loan move has only made Monaco to exercise the rights that he’s still a Monaco player. That aside this dude doesn’t seem improving or progressing with one goal from ten matches.
