AS Monaco are interested in signing Leicester City star Wilfred Ndidi on a six-month loan with an option to buy.
The midfielder was close to leaving Leicester City last summer following the expiration of his contract.
The 28-year-old however signed a new three-year contract after much persuasion from then Leicester City manager Steve Cooper.
According to transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano, Leicester City are not willing to allow the Nigerian leave at this moment.

“AS Monaco consider Wilfried Ndidi one of the main options on their list for the final days, but loan move with buy option clause is not easy at all,” Romano wrote on X.
“Ndidi has a buyout clause but Leicester are not opening doors to loan yet, at this stage.”
The defensive midfielder joined Leicester City from Belgian Pro League outfit KRC Genk in January 2017.
He has made 289 appearances for the former Premier League champions, including 16 this season – but none since early December due to a hamstring problem.
