Monaco could face a fight to keep defender Benjamin Henrichs this summer, with Bayern Munich linked with a swoop. The Ligue 1 side offloaded Youri Tielemans to Leicester City in a £40million deal on Monday evening but could lose another influential player before the deadline.

Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich are looking to bolster their options and have reportedly set their sights on the 22-year-old left-back, who made 29 appearances for Monaco last term following his 20m euros switch from Bayer Leverkusen 12 months ago.
Henrichs, who helped Germany reach the final of the recent European Under-21 Championship, still has four years remaining on his contract at Stade Louis II. And, while Bayern are thought to be pondering a 25m euros bid, it is being claimed that Monaco will want 35m euros before considering a sale, despite the fact Henrich’s fell out of favour in the second half of last season.
